ARTICLE
V
OFFICERS
AND THEIR DUTIES:
1.
The President
-
Shall
preside at all Executive Committee meetings, and at all general meetings.
-
Shall
be the official Representative of the Association.
-
Shall
prepare, with the secretary the agenda for executive meetings.
-
Shall
see that all plans and decision of the Executive Committee are carried out.
-
Shall
be an Ex-Officio member of any Sub-Committee within the Association.
-
Shall
call special /emergency meetings of the Executive Committee as the occasion
demands.
-
Shall
give a report of the activities of the Association at the Annual General
Meeting.
2.
The Vice-President
Shall be an understudy to the president and shall act in his absence.
3.
The Secretary
-
Shall work closely with the president.
-
Shall
prepare with the president the agenda for Executive Committee meetings.
-
Shall
issue all notices of Executive Committee meetings at least three (3) days before
the date.
-
Shall
keep an accurate record of all association and Executive Committee meetings and of
any function sponsored by the Association.
-
Shall
be responsible for all correspondence in the Association.
4.
The Treasurer
-
Shall
keep an up-to-date record of all funds received and spent.
-
Shall
be the chairman of any financial committee.
-
Shall
render a quarterly financial statement to the Executive Committee.
-
Shall
present an audited financial statement at the annual general meeting.
-
Shall
be held accountable for all funds of the Association.
5.
The Chaplain
Shall be the Spiritual adviser to the Association.
6.
The P.R.O
Shall be responsible for publicizing all activities of the Association.
7.
The Assistants
-
Shall
know the duties of their seniors.
-
Shall
assist the seniors in their responsibilities.
-
Shall
act in the absence of their seniors.
8.
The School -Liaison Officer
Shall represent the school at the Executive and association meetings.
9.
Floor Members
Shall have the right to participate in all functions of the Executive
Committee.
